The Ontos
Pictures are courtesy of the U.S. Marine Corps Museum, and from Michael Scudder.
This mobile moving vehicle was sometimes referred to as the Giant Shotgun; the Big Pig; and the Big Thing.
Used exclusively during the Vietnam War, The U.S. Marines found this light armored mobile tracked anti-tank vehicle mounted with six M40 106mm guns to be quite effective against enemy infantry. This vehicle had limited production and when the Marines decided to stop using them some were turned over to the Army Light Infantry Brigade for fixed bunker fortifications. There was a variation called the M50A1.

Using Agent Orange in Vietnam
The use of Chemical Weapons:
Agent Orange was a defoliant spray intended to kill off all the green foliage and force the enemy to leave the area. It did, but it also caused the civilian populous along with U.S. and Allied forces harmful long term health problems.

Rat-Shot Bullets
These are also referred to as pellet shot or bird shot. This ammo is usually fired from a 22 caliber bullet (as shown in the pictures below). But may be loaded onto almost any grain caliber bullet such as a 45.
The manufacture of this type of ammo can resemble either a shotgun style top or it may just be a crimped head.
