S&W Model 40, Hammerless 38 Caliber Revolver, Modified

A police buddy of mine took this picture with his cellphone that was caught in a raid of a new Smith and Wesson revolver that had just been modified.

  1. The modification is one that may be patterned after Col. William E. Fairbairn's (circa 1938). It's a very effective mod for a point-shoot handgun.

    I agree but its a damn fine waste of an $800.00 new handgun. You could have done this with a much cheaper revolver.
